Travel

For services outside our Sandy, UT studio, fees start at $25 + $1/mile (parking, valet, etc may also apply)

Bridal Party/ Family

Services for additional members of your party can be added for $250/person

Jr. Bridesmaid

For junior bridesmaids, or family members, 11 - 14-years-old, services can be added for $190/person

Flower girl

For flower girls, or family members, 10-years-old and younger, services can be added for $90/person

Additional Artists

For larger parties, or for those with a tight timeline, additional artists can be brought in starting at $75

Early Morning

Need a start time before 8AM? Early morning services can be scheduled starting at $75

Blowout

For any client wanting a blowout with product prior to/instead of styling, this service can be added starting at $100

What is involved between my inquiry and booking?
- You send an inquiry from the form below
- We'll get back in touch and make sure we have all the information we need

- Date of your wedding

- Location you'd like to get ready (our salon, or on-location)

- How many clients in your party

- Start and/or finish time

- All services desired for the bride
- We will prepare a quote based on your wedding beauty needs
- You approve your quote, or request changes

- We send you an electronic invoice and contract

- You sign/initial, and send in your retainer

- We pick the team members who are the best fit for you/your wedding

Can you glam my entire bridal party?
- Yes! From parties of 1 - 30 or more, we can handle it all.

Can they pay you directly for their services?

- No. Empire can only accept payments from the bride/contract holder. If you would like your bridal party to pay for their own services (which is a common practice), we request that you collect payments from your party and then include those payments in your transactions with Empire.

What happens if one of my party members has to back out?

- No refunds can be given for services canceled after your retainer has been paid. We suggest finding another bridal party member, or a family member/wedding guest, who would like to take the place of the bridal party member who is backing out.

Can you add in bridal party/family members who decide they want services later?

- Not always. If an addition is requested, the sooner, the better. We are not always able to accommodate additions added later. We can almost never accommodate an addition on the wedding day. It is always best to encourage your bridal party to book all together at the same time.

Is bridal party makeup/hairstyling different from a bride's makeup/hairstyling?

-Yes! The bride is always the center of attention on her wedding day. While we will ensure that everyone's look will be picture perfect all day, we will make sure your look stands out from the rest.

How much is required to book my date?
- Our standard policy is for a payment equal to 50% of your total booking be paid as a retainer to reserve your booking's date/time.

Can I get a refund of my retainer?

- No. Should you desire to cancel your booking for any reason, we are not able to offer a refund of the retainer.

Do you offer monthly payment options?

- Yes! If your wedding is three or more months out from the time of booking, you may qualify for a monthly payment plan. An additional service fee is added to monthly payment plans.

When is the remaining amount due?
- 14 days before the wedding date.

What if we need to start before 8am?
- We can start services anytime. Fees per artist for early morning services are as follows: +$75.00 between 7:00am – 8:00am, +$100.00 between 6:00am – 7:00am, +$200.00 between 6:00am – 5:00am, +$400.00 before 5:00am.

How many teams are included in my booking? What if I would like to add more to cut down on time?

- One team is always included with any booking (one makeup artist, one hairstylist), this automatically cuts your glam time in half because Empire will provide BOTH services at the same time! If you'd like to cut your party's glam time even more, you can book additional teams for $150 per team.

What if I, or my bridal party, run late on the wedding day?

- We understand that wedding days can be very stressful. To ensure that our artists have enough time to glam you and your party, and also for any other bookings that may follow yours, we do charge $25 for every 15mins a team is delayed before or after your scheduled times.

Can you provide services at my location on the wedding day?
- Absolutely! The majority of our brides prefer to get ready at their own location to save on travel time, and stress, on the big day. We can meet you at your home, hotel room, venue, anywhere there is adequate room for your services + power. Travel fees for on-location services are as follows: $25 + $1.00/mile roundtrip for any artist traveling from the zip code of 84070. Parking or valet fees may also apply. Should travel time exceed 2 hours from the zip code of 84070 and/or if travel time must begin before 6:00am, a hotel fee of $200 will be charged to for every two artists attending the booking.

Can we book services if our wedding falls on a holiday?

- Yes! Empire does observe state and federal holidays, but we can provide services for an additional fee as follows: +$50.00 per artist on Martin Luther King Jr Day, President’s Day, Easter, and Halloween. +$75.00 per artist on Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Pioneer Day, and Labor Day. +$300.00 per artist on New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Years Eve.

What if I need to reschedule my booking?

- If for any reason you need to reschedule your booking more than 14 days before the wedding date, you qualify for a one-time credit for all monies already paid. Notification of rescheduling must be made in writing and sent via email. Retainer credit may be applied only to services within one year (12 months) of original date, provided Empire is available. Any remaining balance due may be adjusted to include the current pricing at that time.
If you fail to supply notice of cancellation, or cancel within 14 days of the wedding, you would forfeits all payments and must book services under a new contract.

What if I need to cancel my booking?

- If for any reason you need to cancel your booking more than 14 days before the wedding date, the non-refundable retainer (or any monthly payments paid up to 14 days before the wedding) is forfeit, but you will not be responsible for any remainder still due. Notification of cancellation must be made in writing by and sent via email.

If you fail to supply notice of cancellation, or cancel within 14 days of the wedding date, you would still be required to pay any remaining balance still due.

What if Empire cancels my booking?

- In over ten years of servicing weddings, this has never happened! This is the benefit of hiring from a reputable bridal team. Should an emergency situation prohibit one of your artists from attending your booking, Empire will replace the original artist with one of equal, or greater, talent. When your booking is on our calendar, it is written in stone, and it is our commitment to never leave a bride high and dry.
